Park your car for the day, grab your sunglasses, hat, smile and meet your Door County guide who will introduce you to one of the most beautiful areas of Door County. You meet us at Gravity Trails Check in Location at the Rowleys Bay Resort’s Marina. Gravity Trails has access to Newport State Park, The Mink River Estuary, Sand Bay Beach, and over 50+ acres of private hiking trails behind the Rowleys Bay Resort at their fingertips.

Gravity Trails is a multi-sport adventure tour company; bringing you Biking, Zip Lining, Kayaking and Gem Mining.  Great fun for the whole family.

Door County Kayak Tours of the Mink River Estuary or Newport State Park;

Kayak into the Mink River Estuary, one of 2 protected estuaries on the Great Lakes. Famous for it’s bass fishing, bird & dragon fly sightings, the Mink River Estuary was purchased by the Nature Conservancy to keep it in its pristine state! The calm water is great for beginners, get a lesson from your guide, then hop in your single or double sit-on-top kayaks and go for a guided tour of the Mink River Estuary. Make it a round trip back to our launch spot, or take a quick hike out of the Nature Conservancy and then hop on some cruiser bikes to end up back at our home base to do lunch at Grandmas Bakery and finish the day up with a zip line tour.

Zip Line near wetlands, sand dunes and fly through the air. The Zip line is currently up and running.

Gem Mining

Gravity Trail’s newest activity. Adults and children of all ages can now purchase pails of gem, mineral and fossil enriched soil and sift through them in a 16ft mining flume, which pumps 80 gallons of water a minute.

Door County Bike Tours and Rentals

This is just our way of saying, we hate cars. It is time to leave your keys in your room and enjoy the beautiful pace of a bicycle. We like to go from activity to activity in style with our cool new cruisers. What a great compliment to a hour in a kayak is a ride on a bike, give your arms a rest and give those legs a little lovin.

• Don’t risk getting your new digital camera wet, we have disposable cameras available for purchase.
• Capture the whole wedding group on the water in a giant supersoaker battle.

Many of our guests are beginner, first time kayakers & zip liners .

We welcome beginners and enjoy the opportunity to teach and encourage your new outdoor enthusiasm. Most people have never done these activities before or maybe just a few times. Safety is our number one priority.

That is why we:

–use Sit-on-Top Kayaks(SOT), there are no more fears of being “locked” in the kayak, and they are more stable than sit-in kayaks.

–decide tour routes based on wind direction and strength.

–make sure all guides are certified in First Aid and CPR.
